So far today, it has been fairly quiet, couple of visitors, things like that. Heck, here it is 4:12 p.m., and I'm still in my jammies. I was sitting here reading email when I heard an ongoing sound not quite as loud as the vacuum running. I muted the volume on tv trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. Try as I might, I could not figure it out. So, I turned the volume back up on tv so I could hear it, just about the time I did that, I hear a couple of beeps. I'm thinking WTF? Got up, went to the kitchen and saw END on the window of the microwave. I DID NOT TURN IT ON, and there was nothing in it. Came back to the sofa, my dog is laying sprawled on his back acting for all the world like he is getting a belly rub. I think I have a "visitor" again. I wonder how long this one will stay?
For those that have not noticed any of my stuff before, I live in a haunted building, had a lot of visitors in the first apartment, with all kinds of odd things going on. When I moved into this apartment 99% of the stuff stopped. This is the second incident of this size in this apartment. The other one involved a lot of orbs and some tapping on the walls. We will see what goes on with this go round.
Please do, Phuggy. I find this fascinating!
Maybe your microwave is malfunctioning. Unplug it. You don't want it bursting into flames. One of mine did once (so did a tv!) and it had nothing to do with "visitors." I even had RAM explode into flames once.
I grew up with 'haunted' locations. I was in junior high before I realised not everyone can see, hear, or sense 'them'.
I owned a house in Colorado that was/is haunted. The only thing I know about 'him' is his name: Walker. He loved playing with my cats and dogs. They would chase the 'noseeums' up and down the hallway for hours!
In the winter, I liked to light oil lamps, the light is warm and friendly. When I got ready for bed, I would go around and blow out the flames. The next night, I would go around to light the lamps and all of the wicks would be at different heights. This was a nightly occurrence.
One morning, around 3am, I was in the bathroom when I heard boot steps, work boots in fact, walk right past the open door.
I never felt anything but warmth from Walker and actually miss having him around. I know my animals miss him also as he was a constant source of amusement for them.
